Stabilizing Through Employment + Parenting Skills

Fathers face many challenges, and Passages is here to help through the League of Extraordinary Fathers. This program gives men the skills and support they need to be the fathers they would like to be and the father their kids deserve. The League provides free workshops, coaching, and resources to help fathers navigate family, legal, and personal issues. Within the League, you will have an opportunity to gain insight and tools through programming that includes:

  • A four week (daytime) or seven week (evening time) program, starting at the beginning of each month

  • Group workshops led by fathers, for fathers, where men talk about fatherhood

  • Real talk in a safe space where fathers learn from and support each other

  • Virtual day and evening sessions

  • Up to $250 in gift cards

Funding for this project was provided by the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, Grant: 90ZJ-0043. These services are available to all eligible persons, regardless of race, gender, age, disability, or religion.

Additional Access + Long-term Benefits

Enrolled participants are eligible to receive additional support and access to our services for one year! These services include:

  • Help navigating child support and parenting time/custody

  • Transportation assistance for new jobs, interviews, or to attend programming

  • Help getting a job, keeping a job and earning a better wage

  • One-on-one mentoring for fathers by fathers who have shared similar life experiences

  • Referrals for legal help

  • Driver’s License reinstatement navigation

  • Assistance in navigating record sealing and determining eligibility

The League welcomes all fathers, stepfathers, or anyone in a fatherhood role. To receive services, individuals must live in Cuyahoga, Lorain, or Portage Counties in Ohio; be 18 years of age or older; and have a child (under 25 years old).
